Unacceptable printing quality

This rating is for the printer, not the author. I have received two copies of this book and both look like they were printed using a dot matrix printer with the original ribbon from 1985 or an old copy machine.

Excellent Survey and Introduction Book to the American Legal System

As an instructor, i was very happy with the content and structure of this book. Prof. Burnham has done a magnificent job in organizing and presenting the varying subject matter. It is not a difficult book to read and he presents it in a way that is easy to understand. My students enjoy the book and that makes my work a little easier. If you want to get an introduction into the American legal system, there is no better text to get you started. I would highly recommend the book to anyone interested in understanding the American legal system.

Great intro to Law textbook

This is a great comprehensive look at the legal system in the USA. Well written with great case examples. I received an A in the Paralegal class I'm taking, and this textbook was instrumental in my studies.
